National Hospice Analytics

National Hospice Analytics is an independent, mission-driven organization dedicated to improving hospice utilization and access to high-quality end-of-life care. Since 2008, we have served as a nationally trusted resource for accurate, transparent analysis of Medicare and other national datasets. Our work is rooted in integrity, rigorous methodology, and a deep commitment to supporting providers, associations, policymakers, and researchers across the hospice and palliative care continuum.

What We Provide

National Hospice Analytics:

  • Produces a comprehensive suite of data reports - developed in close partnership with our clients - to support informed decision-making, strategic growth, and improved care delivery.
  • Offers immediate access to analyses through our secure, user-friendly data platform, with results available in downloadable charts, tables, and spreadsheets.
  • Provides expert consultation for organizations needing customized reports, advanced analytics, or in-depth research tailored to their unique questions.
  • Serves the field nationally, contributing data expertise to committees, workgroups, research initiatives, and educational events across the country.
  • Maintains the National Hospice Locator (NHL), the most comprehensive, constantly updated database of hospice locations in the United States - trusted by the public, providers, researchers, and policymakers.

Our Commitment

Our work extends far beyond data delivery. Consistent with our values of integrity, transparency, and service to the field, in close association with state hospice organizations, we also provide:

  • Volunteer Leadership on Boards, committees, and task forces dedicated to strengthening high-quality hospice and palliative care.
  • Education through more than 250 in-person presentations across 40+ states - openly sharing data to foster collaboration, stewardship, and excellence.
  • Intentional Low Pricing, ensuring that mission-driven providers have equitable access to essential information, regardless of size or resources.
